Welcome to the new Killam Trustee, Brenda Eaton
We are pleased to inform you that Ms. Brenda Eaton has been appointed to the Board of Killam Trustees, effective today, June 1, 2019.
Brenda is an experienced corporate director, serving on the Boards of a number of private, public and not-for-profit Boards. She is currently Chair of Transelec and serves on the Boards of Westland Insurance, LifeLabs, Technical Safety BC, BC Ferries, and Victoria’s Wastewater Treatment Project Board (Vice Chair).
Prior to becoming a corporate director, Brenda was a senior leader in the BC Government. From 2001-2005 she was Deputy Minister to Premier Gordon Campbell. She previously held executive positions in the BC Government, including Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury Board; Energy and Mines; and Social Services. For several years she was Chief Financial Officer of a Health Authority. Brenda has a Master’s Degree in Economics.
We want to take this opportunity to thank John Montalbano for his 12 years of outstanding service as a fiduciary and we look forward to working with Brenda as we continue to steward the Trusts and ensure the intentions of Mrs. Killam are carried out.
