Killam Programs

So that the Killam Trusts can strengthen its mandate to encourage great research and advanced study over the next 50 years, the institutions offering a Killam program are focusing even more on supporting those academics who are in the immediate post-tenure (or equivalent) stages of their careers — when help is needed the most — and when it is most likely to ‘launch’ long-term research success.

The Killam Trustees work with these organizations to uphold the intention of Dorothy Killam to ensure, 'No person shall be qualified or disqualified on account of his or her race or religious opinions.' in all aspects of their Killam programs.
