Utilisant des catalyseurs homog\u00e8nes, l\u2019oxyde nitreux est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement tr\u00e8s difficile \u00e0 activer dans des conditions douces. Mme\u00a0Doyle et ses coll\u00e8gues ont donc \u00e9tudi\u00e9 en d\u00e9tail une fa\u00e7on m\u00e9canique sans \u00e9quivalent permettant cette r\u00e9action. Warren Piers \u00e9tant l\u2019un des principaux chercheurs canadiens dans ce domaine, elle a donc choisi d\u2019entreprendre ses \u00e9tudes sup\u00e9rieures dans son laboratoire \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Calgary.<\/p>\n
Mme\u00a0Doyle tire profit de la proximit\u00e9 des Rocheuses pour y faire de la randonn\u00e9e et de l\u2019escalade quand elle n\u2019est pas au laboratoire.
