Ses recherches portent sur le d\u00e9veloppement de nouvelles techniques d\u2019analyse en th\u00e9orie quantique des champs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La physique des particules cherche \u00e0 d\u00e9crire le monde physique \u00e0 son niveau microscopique le plus profond. Son langage, la th\u00e9orie quantique des champs, est partag\u00e9 par de nombreuses branches de la physique moderne. La proposition de M.&nbsp;Caron-Huot se concentre sur deux r\u00e9gimes, le couplage faible et le couplage fort, l\u2019objectif principal \u00e9tant de combler le foss\u00e9 entre eux pour permettre le calcul contr\u00f4l\u00e9 des forces d\u2019interaction \u00e0 des valeurs finies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sa proposition repose sur un constat percutant\u00a0: il existe souvent une th\u00e9orie quantique des champs unique qui est compatible avec les sym\u00e9tries donn\u00e9es et les principes universels de la relativit\u00e9 et de la m\u00e9canique quantique. Certaines avanc\u00e9es des derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es prouvent qu\u2019il est possible d\u2019en tirer parti pour extraire efficacement des pr\u00e9dictions pr\u00e9cises.
