Yaser Abu-Lebdeh est agent principal de recherche au Centre de recherche sur les innovations dans les \u00e9nergies propres du Conseil national de recherches Canada\u00a0(CNRC) et chef d\u2019\u00e9quipe sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 dans les technologies de pointe relatives aux batteries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le projet examine l\u2019utilisation de mat\u00e9riaux actifs de cathode&nbsp;(CAM) \u00e0 base de nickel comme le LiNixMnyCozO2&nbsp;(NMC) pour am\u00e9liorer la technologie des batteries lithium-ion et contribuer au lancement de la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de batteries tout-solide. Mme&nbsp;Nazar et M.&nbsp;Abu-Lebdeh visent \u00e0 surmonter les obstacles structurels et interfaciaux pour obtenir une teneur accrue en nickel et des CAM sans cobalt dans la technologie des batteries lithium-ion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Comme on comprend mal les mat\u00e9riaux NMC compos\u00e9s \u00e0 plus de 85&nbsp;% de nickel, il faut d\u00e9velopper des m\u00e9thodes novatrices pour am\u00e9liorer leur stabilit\u00e9 globale et interfaciale tout en maintenant la densit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique qui leur est propre. Le d\u00e9veloppement de cette nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de syst\u00e8mes \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques (en particulier pour les batteries tout-solide) sera facilit\u00e9 par l\u2019expertise partag\u00e9e par ces chercheurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La collaboration entre Mme&nbsp;Nazar et M.&nbsp;Abu-Lebdeh repose sur l\u2019Initiative sur les mat\u00e9riaux critiques pour les batteries&nbsp;(IMCB) du CNRC en \u00e9largissant consid\u00e9rablement le domaine des batteries tout-solide, ce qui sera rendu possible par l\u2019innovation de nouveaux \u00e9lectrolytes solides&nbsp;(ES) con\u00e7us pour les CAM \u00e0 haute teneur en nickel. Cette technologie a le potentiel de r\u00e9volutionner l\u2019industrie des batteries et des v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques en permettant la production de batteries moins ch\u00e8res capables
