Les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s quantiques uniques des particules de lumi\u00e8re, appel\u00e9es photons, sont essentielles aux technologies permettant le d\u00e9veloppement de r\u00e9seaux et d\u2019ordinateurs quantiques. Le projet de M<sup>mes<\/sup>\u00a0Hall et Gamouras vise \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper des circuits photoniques quantiques qui exploitent des sources optimis\u00e9es de photons uniques \u00e0 base de points quantiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Leur projet fusionne l\u2019expertise de M<sup>me<\/sup>\u00a0Gamouras et d\u2019autres chercheurs de renomm\u00e9e mondiale du CNRC dans la fabrication, l\u2019optimisation et la caract\u00e9risation de nanostructures semi-conductrices pour la photonique quantique; et l\u2019expertise de M<sup>me<\/sup>\u00a0Hall et du Dalhousie Ultrafast Quantum Control Group dans le d\u00e9veloppement de strat\u00e9gies optimales de contr\u00f4le quantique pour le d\u00e9clenchement optique de photons uniques \u00e0 la demande. En am\u00e9liorant les sources de lumi\u00e8re quantique \u2013 un \u00e9l\u00e9ment essentiel pour l\u2019informatique, la communication et la mise en r\u00e9seau quantiques \u2013, cette recherche
