In a special ceremony in Montreal on November 10th UCalgary's Chancellor Robert Thirsk will present an honourary degree to Dr. Brenda Milner, Dorothy J Killam Professor at the Montreal Neurological Institute of McGill University.
Brenda Milner began working in Montreal in the 1940s and has never stopped! Her work spans over seven decades and has been internationally recognized through numerous awards and honours. She has published more than 100 papers on memory and other cognitive functions and is a distinguished lecturer in brain research.
