I hope my research will lead to a better understanding of aerosol formation and to improved characterization techniques that will directly improve regulation and facilitate enforcement.

There is currently little known about how animals behave in burned landscapes. Logan’s research focuses on the American marten, animals that are specialized to live in forests and very sensitive to disturbances that remove trees.
Robyn’s research is at the intersection of neuroscience, emotional intelligence, social power, and bullying. Despite research and intervention programs developed and implemented, bullying continues to be rampant in Canadian schools.
Alejandra’s research focuses on understanding human-bird interactions in agro-ecological systems. Being named a Killam Laureate is a great honour and source of motivation as it allows her to focus exclusively on her studies.
