I hope that my research can be used to advance the status of cancer chemotherapies in Canada. I am honoured and humbled to be named a Killam Scholar, particularly among the other talented doctoral recipients.
Guaranteed funding means I can pursue more ambitious research, and have funding for travel to conferences and tell people about the research we’re doing in the field of ‘supramolecular’ chemistry, which means chemistry beyond the molecule.
