By enabling scalable quantum processors and networked quantum systems, this work supports Canada’s strategic position in next-generation computing, secure communications, and advanced sensing technologies.
Their research will develop and demonstrate faster and more reliable qubit readout and will pursue the first Canadian demonstration of entanglement between remote semiconductor qubits using microwave quantum signals.
Adam Wei Tsen’s research is focused on the study of novel quantum materials to harness their exotic properties for applications in computing and communications technologies, including quantum computing and quantum information.
